ARTAN is a biotechnology company developing a novel approach to address genetic and age-related diseases caused by nonsense mutations. These mutations lead to premature protein translation stops, resulting in incomplete and nonfunctional proteins. Our pipeline involves an engineered suppressor system that specifically recognizes these codons and restores normal protein translation.
